The Story Of Stuff

The thing that blows my mind the most about the whole process is that the stuff is MADE to BREAK!
How selfish is this of the corporations? They're compromising the world's health and well being just to make MORE money. For example, the computers which have the chip that changes shape every year, just so we have to go and buy a whole new computer instead of buying a small chip to get what we need.
If we all buy things that will last for years instead of buying the cheap and nasty breakable things, there would be alot less waste. Sure this will cost us more money at once but we will end up saving money over time and isnt it worth it for the environment?
I agree with what Sophie said about showing these videos to schools and getting them involved. If we teach the young generation good habits now it could change the future for the good.
